Terry Gross talks with
Carl Finch and Tiny Tim in conjunction with the release of the Brave
Combo-Tiny Tim album Girl. Carl talks about
the band's challenges in putting together this album and relates some
anecdotes about working with Tiny Tim. Tiny talks about his career in
show business and extolls the virtues of early twentieth-century songwriters
as well as the music of today. Tiny Tim died later that year, on November
30, and the world hasn't been the same without him.
